Who I am

Hi, my name is Marco Scurria, I am a network administrator with about 10 years of experience in various companies including Service Providers, TV companies, Insurance Agencies, always attracted by the world of Free Software / Open source even if the two terms are not synonymous, in these last 6 years, given that the so-called Big Tech companies have pervaded every aspect of people's lives, I asked myself if there were alternatives that we could use to keep our privacy and our data safe.

Since then this has become my mission and I try to share my discoveries with everyone, I opened the telegram channel on which in addition to personal venting, I propose Free / Open Source alternative solutions to the most famous proprietary software for both PC and mobile.

The next step was to start a blog and so I finally decided to do it.
